I am a creative first and foremost, the camera is just one of many tools.
The youngest of three children, my parents didn’t bother to take any photos of me as a child. Obviously, I overcompensated and made a career out of photographing others. I grew up drawing on walls and singing in musicals. After graduating from Swinburne University with a Bachelor's in Film and TV, it’s safe to say I’m not destined to become an accountant.
I really believe in meeting people where they’re at, so if you want photos at home on the couch or halfway up a mountain—I’m right there with you. I’ve photographed people giving birth and getting married in pirate-themed taverns. I’ve seen a lot, but I haven’t seen it all, so help me see the world through your eyes, savouring those moments for you forever.
When I’m not moonlighting, I work for the ABC. I’ve photographed for the Victorian ABC newsroom, produced for Q+A and News Breakfast, and reported for Triple J’s Hack. I have a lot of interests, but the thing that connects it all is storytelling. I’d be honoured if you allowed me to help tell your story.
I pay my respects to the Wurundjeri people as the traditional owners of the land I work and create on. I also acknowledge their long history of creation and storytelling.
